Updates Regarding COVID-19
In light of the statewide shelter-in-place order recently announced by Gov. Tate Reeves, the Animal Hospital of Clinton will be seeing patients on an emergency-only basis. This means that certain elective procedures and healthy adult annual exams and vaccines may be postponed. Routine visits for nail trims, baths, and hygiene procedures will be temporarily suspended.
The following services WILL continue to be provided during this time:
- • Vaccinations for puppies, kittens and immunocompromised pets
- • Dispensing of prescription medications, including heartworm prevention, flea and tick medications and testing for heartworm disease
- • Diagnostics, treatment, and hospitalization of sick, injured, or uncomfortable pets
We prefer that you call or email ahead for prescriptions and supply refills, to give adequate time to have ready. We ask that you continue to help us maintain social distance by calling our office number from the parking lot upon arrival, making payments over the phone, and allowing AHOC employees to bring your pet indoors for treatment. Please be patient as the phone lines will be our only way of communication and there will be longer wait times.
The Animal Hospital of Clinton will continue to be open to provide treatments for your pets. We are changing our Tuesday closing hour to 5:30pm instead of 7:00pm. We do not know at this time how the office hours could be adjusted.
Doctors and staff will continue to keep hospital hours to provide treatment for your pets.
The health and safety of your pets and you, our clients, continues to be our primary goal. We appreciate your patience during this time and encourage you to call or email us with any questions or concerns at
601-924-4169 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
